New England integrated living support
Historically there was a bias to individuals identified with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Unfortunately, it was believed that the best practice for them was to be placed in mental health or residential facilities . We now know this was not the best practice.
Provider philosophy of services
It is NEILS philosophy that all people should have to the right to live independently within their community. We strive to provide a home where individuals across numerous different spectrums can live their lives successful in the least restrictive setting possible. We believe that affording individuals complete support with daily living functioning and community integration gives them the best chance at independent living
